Calleva Sales Office team member Shannon Hooper has set herself and Dad Ray a challenge this year. And quite a big one!
Shannon and Ray are planning to cycle from Lands End to John O Groats in May this year. They will be raising money for the Dorset & Somerset Air ambulance.
A keen cyclist, Shannon often cycles the 10+ miles to work and back each day. The rest of the Calleva Team are very proud of Shannon. A few of us may even join her and Ray for the Taunton to Bridgwater leg. As long as we wont slow them down too much! We know our Customers who work closely with Shannon on a regular basis will be impressed and proud to hear that she is taking on such a feat.
About the epic challenge, Shannon said: “This is something we have both wanted to do and as Ray is now retired it seems like the perfect opportunity. We are aiming to cycle 100miles a day over 9days. We are excited for what will be the most physical and mentally challenging experience yet, but at least we get to explore the beautiful Great British countryside along the way! The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is a charity close to our hearts having supported family and friends in recent years.”
Well done Shannon and Ray! We can’t wait to follow your journey.
